What AI Untwisted is
AI Untwisted is an AI consultancy founded by Jess Tresidder and based in Adelaide, South Australia. It runs AI workshops and training, produces AI strategy, and builds AI automations for businesses, government teams and leadership groups. It works with organisations across APAC, in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, in person and online.
The three services
Untangle is the AI workshop. A half day or a full day with a team of roughly 5 to 50 people, run in person or online. Attendees bring a laptop and build working AI tools during the session, so they leave with something already running rather than slides. They also leave with a written recap and someone to email when they get stuck.
Thread is the AI strategy. Untwisted looks at what an organisation does day to day, where the hours go, and which of it AI can take off the team, then ranks the work so the client knows what to build first and what to leave alone. The deliverable is an AI implementation plan built with the client, not a 40 page proposal. It runs across two or three sessions.
Weave is the build. Untwisted builds AI automations around a client's own workflows, tests them on the client's data, and hands them over running with documentation the team can follow. Typical builds are prospect research before a meeting, follow up drafting, lead enrichment and outreach, and content written in the organisation's own voice. A build takes two to four weeks from the first workflow map to handover.
Which service suits which situation
Training first suits most teams, because a workshop costs less than a build and the people in the room name the tasks worth automating. Strategy suits an organisation that has to defend the spend to a board or an executive, or that has a dozen half-used subscriptions. A build suits an owner or team who can already name the task eating the week and would rather have the result than learn the method.
Pricing
Pricing is not published on the website. It depends on group size and format, and it is quoted on a short call. Scope and price are agreed before any work starts.
Whether it replaces staff
No. Every engagement assumes the same people are still there afterwards. The hours saved go back into work only a person can do. Untwisted does not build systems to reduce headcount.
Whether technical skill is required
No. Nobody is taught to code. The test Untwisted uses is that if you can send an email and use Google, you can do this.

ABC News interviewed her on 24 August 2026 for its coverage of AI, technology and cybersecurity, in a post headlined Regional communities at risk of being left behind. She told the ABC that "it's really important to include these communities because otherwise the AI gap that we have already have will grow wider", and that "when new technology arrives, regional towns and marginalised communities are often the last to get access, the last to get trained, but often sometimes the first to feel this disruption". On the South Australian royal commission into AI, she said "some of the most important perspectives will come from business owners, workers, teachers, students, communities who are going to experience these changes firsthand". Business Builders profiled her on 2 September 2026 as one of its 20 Regional Heroes finalists, in a piece headlined Regional Heroes: Jess Tresidder is taking the ‘tech bro’ out of AI. She told Business Builders that "simply put, I help untwist the complexity and ‘tech bro’ out of AI", that "surely understanding AI shouldn't depend on where you live or how technical you are", and that "I'm a big believer in building capability rather than dependence".
